In-Depth Overview

The m+p VibRunner is a modular, 19-inch rack-mountable data acquisition system for vibration, noise and structural testing. Each unit takes up to 24 analog inputs and up to 12 analog outputs, with 8 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs, and units can be daisy-chained and synchronised over 1 Gbit/s Ethernet to build systems of several hundred channels. Sample rates of 102.4 and 204.8 kHz are available, and dedicated modules cover strain and bridge measurements alongside standard IEPE and voltage inputs. Ethernet, USB and OPC interfaces allow integration into third-party test environments. VibRunner runs with m+p VibControl, m+p Analyzer and m+p Coda. Placid Asia supplies and supports m+p international systems in Thailand and ASEAN.

Recommended Companion Software: PQ Analyst

Pair this DAQ device with PLACID PQ Analyst — an integrated software platform for real-time acoustic and vibration signal acquisition, visualization, and analysis. Together they form a complete measurement and analysis chain for R&D, university research, and industrial testing.

  • Real-time FFT spectrum analysis up to the full bandwidth of your DAQ
  • Spectrogram (waterfall) display for time-frequency visualization
  • 1/1 and 1/3 octave band analysis per IEC 61260
  • Sound Level Meter module (Leq, Lmax, Lmin, LN) per IEC 61672
  • Data export to CSV for post-processing in MATLAB or Python
  • Compatible with PQ401-A, PQ401-B, PQ441-C, and PQ1601
