The Nor848B Acoustic Camera is a modular, beamforming array system designed for fast sound source localisation and diagnostics. The Hextile module delivers a lightweight, USB‑powered camera with 128 MEMS microphones, weighing under 3 kg and measuring Ø 46 cm (low‑frequency limit ≈ 410 Hz). For increased resolution and lower‑frequency capability, up to three tiles combine as Multitile to 384 microphones at Ø 96 cm (low‑frequency limit ≈ 220 Hz). A Multitile LF configuration extends array size to about Ø 1.46 m for sub‑kHz work. The modular approach lets you travel light and scale up on site.
Use Nor848B across NVH troubleshooting, building façades, machinery diagnostics, leak localisation, and product sound quality investigations. Single‑cable USB power/data simplifies setup; processing supports real‑time sound maps with deconvolution for sharper imaging.
